18. Rangamati Mosque(Rangamati Hill)

This brick built mosque was constructed during the reign of Hussain Shah, the Nawab of Gaur, who ruled the area during fifteenth-sixteenth century CE. The mosque, rectangular on plan, stands on a raised platform and constructed with lakhuri bricks and decorated with lime plaster mouldings. The rectangular prayer hall, on the west, has a façade of three arched door openings. The prayer hall is mounted by three domes. There are four octagonal towers, raised beyond the roof level located at the four corners of the mosque. An ancient well and a small tank can be seen in the complex.
